The development of transmission network devices on optic fibre and copper connections for the needs of railway energetics together with adapting the existing systems to the new transmission.

Scope of work

We perform the development of modern transmission devices WAN and LAN on the basis of optic fibres, supplemented in the necessary scope with copper or radio connections. Solutions performed by us ensure a full service of traction and non-traction energetic objects, among others in the scope of:

• remote control
• VoIP telephony
• dependencies of fast disconnectors
• sending information to the power plants
• sending information from the electric energy meters
• monitoring of objects with the use of video cameras

Networks realised for traction substations and section cabins service meet the following requirements:

• optic fibre cables are built up in a way ensuring galvanic separation of energetic objects
• realisation of the network is made in the Ethernet 100Mb technique or a faster one
• for realisation of the network we use one optic fibre
• the system has a closed transmission loop and the used devices ensure the proper operation of the transmission for all objects at a single damage of the cable
• the used devices provide for an option of managing the stream of information in a way enabling limiting the generated streams in the network and guarantteeing a maximum time of sending the information for the needs of some systems (e.g. dependencies of fast disconnectors up to 10 ms.)
• devices installed within the task on the traction substations are powered with 220V DC voltage, thanks to which we avoid problems with breakless power supply
• the transmission network is equipped with a supervision and management post enabling remote managing and monitoring of the network operation
